Magnesium Chloride Flakes
Magnesium Chloride Flakes are a sure way to recharge your body's energy stores, amp up the mitochondria which is your powerhouse in your cells, and relax your body into a gentle slumber. Magnesium is very good for soothing the aches and pains of sore muscles due to physical activity, sports, and ailments.
- over 75% of us are deficient in Magnesium
- Magnesium deficiency can show up as cramping in the lower legs at night and restless leg syndrome. Magnesium deficiency can also show up as a lack of energy and increased recovery times for activities requiring physical exertion with seizures and heart palpitations being on the extreme end of symptoms.
- Magnesium levels can be depleted rapidly by drinking too much coffee, soda, and alcohol.
- Magnesium is one of 7 essential electrolytes that the body needs to function properly.
- Magnesium Chloride is composed of 2 of the essential electrolytes with Sodium, Calcium, Potassium, Phosphate, and Bicarbonate being the other electrolytes.
- Magnesium is the counterpart to Sodium . Sodium is outside the cell wall, Potassium is inside the cell wall. Magnesium helps facilitate the transaction of water and insulin from Sodium to Potassium. This tends to naturally lower and regulate blood pressure.
- Hypertension can be caused by an excess of Sodium in the body without the proper balance of Magnesium.
- Magnesium relaxes the body, and smooth muscle tissue. Smooth muscle tissue includes your heart, colon, and other involuntary muscles used in breathing, blinking, and pumping blood. This is also why an excess can cause the flushing effect of the colon.
- Magnesium is no longer in the soil as it has been depleted. If farmers are not adding it back in, the fruits and vegetables these days are deficient. (side note - our montmorillonite can help replenish the soil)
- Oral Magnesium has a limit to how much can be taken as it can cause a bowel flushing effect. You can only take 400 mg at a time, 2 times a day without the flushing effect This is not enough to charge your storage in your bones, but enough for the daily usages of the body.
- Magnesium is best absorbed topically - through the skin via foot soaks and bath soaks.
- Magnesium oil does exist, but it can 'burn' the skin if you don't know how to use it
HOW TO USE FOOT SOAK & BATH SOAK
